Bianca de Bruijn-van der Gaag studied economics at the Hogeschool West-Brabant in Breda, the Netherlands. From 1999 to 2010 she worked for ING in Amsterdam – initially in account management and from 2009 as a senior manager in mid-office business banking. In the same position she was responsible for the Utrecht region as Senior Manager until 2012. Bianca de Bruijn-van der Gaag has been active for ING in Germany since November 2012. Until the end of 2013, she was in charge of the wholesale banking lending business and was responsible for building up this division in Germany. As Head of Real Estate Financing at ING-DiBa, she has been responsible for the further development of the construction financing division since the beginning of 2018.
