Martina has over 25 years of experience in Environmental Policy and Programme Management, with a particular focus on energy, buildings, transport and cities. In her 20 years with the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), she has served in different functions out of Paris and Nairobi, now heading UNEP’s work on Cities. Before joining UNEP, Martina worked on Trade and Environment and Economic Instruments in the Area of Environmental Protection with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the European Commission and the Foundation for International Environmental Law and Development.
